BRIEF 05 - END OF YEAR SHOW - FEEDBACK AND EVALUATION
What strengths have I identified in this brief?
As with many of my briefs this year, the strengths have
mainly come when I have collaborated with one or more people. This was a
collaboration with two people I had never worked with before which could have
been a gamble but in fact they were very good to work with.
What weaknesses have I identified in this brief?
The main weakness that was highlighted when the idea was
sent to the client was the lack of imagery. For the brief it needed to be more
inclusive rather than predominantly graphic design.
What were the opportunities provided by this
brief?
This brief caused a lot of competition in the studio,
which was interesting to see and be a part of.
What issues were there whilst working on this brief?
This brief I think could have been developed much
further but we didn’t apply ourselves enough.
BRIEF 12 - DESIGN PUBLICATION - BINDING
To bind the publication I had chosen to use the Coptic method, without a cover.
This is something I had not done before so was a bit of a risk but after watching several tutorial videos online and practicing, I felt confident enough to bind the final publication.

The final section, like the first is printed full colour on a heavier 200gsm stock.
