Having looked into a variety of different 'fancy' packaging, we made the decision to keep it simple and minimal in-keeping with the Whistles brand ethos.
I came up with two different packaging next for the same design.
Each net had a design for 'man' and for 'woman'.
The packaging would be cut using the laser cutter to increase accuracy and efficiency. The 'man' packaging would be cut out of black card an then white card would be placed behind the 'Whistles' and 'man' so that they would stand out.
The box at the back of the packaging would be cut out and a card with all the fragrance information would be placed there, such as ingredients and barcode.
On further reflection, the decision was made to remove both the words 'man' and 'woman' from their respective packaging and just let the colours identify who the product is for.
Both nets were to be taken to the laser cutter for tests so that the best one could be identified and any adjustments could be made.
