BRIEF 03 - DBA / CAPITAL NORTH - DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT - IMAGE DEVELOPMENT

We initially began combining the shapes with images of the cities that we had initially researched before we split up to do different roles, in which I was to continue working on gathering and combining the images and shapes.

We aimed to use a variety of imagery that showed off all of the characteristics of Capital North.

Liverpool:

We decided against using the shape as a cut out from an image as it reminded us too much of the Leeds College of Art branding.

With some images I produced a couple of different variations to present to the other. The variations only showed the shape weaving through different elements of the image.

I also experimented with changing the colour of the shape.

I also played with the opacity of the shape.

Whilst I worked on producing the imagery, the others worked on developing the concept, mocking up Capital North imagery, creating the posters and our presentation.
